Our Story
From the Trail to PlanTMB
PlanTMB was created from a deep love for the Tour du Mont Blanc and years of real experience on the trail.
I’ve hiked the TMB several times — alone, with friends, and with my family — and every journey reinforced why this route is so special. The dramatic Alpine scenery, ever-changing views, charming villages, and excellent food and accommodation make the TMB much more than just a hike.
It’s a complete Alpine experience.
Over time, I realized that while hiking the TMB is unforgettable, planning it can be confusing and time-consuming. Routes, stages, refuges, transport options, and border crossings between France, Italy, and Switzerland can easily overwhelm hikers — especially first-timers.

We wanted to turn personal trail experience into a simple, practical planning tool — something that helps hikers prepare confidently and focus on enjoying the journey instead of worrying about logistics.
